Roddy MacLeod writes “We’ve just released a new, free service which should help people find information in engineering, mathematics and computing. Its called EEVL Xtra and its essentially a cross-search service, which searches the content of 20 databases, featuring content from about 50 publishers.
EEVL Xtra helps you find subject-based information, which Google doesn’t do very well. Many of the things you’ll find through EEVL Xtra come from the ‘Hidden Web’, and may not indexed by Google.
In many cases, the full text of items found via EEVL Xtra should be freely available.“
