Sad news from across the pond…SCOTLAND’S national library was flooded after a sprinkler system broke down, firefighters said today. Fortunately, many of the library’s most valuable books had been wrapped up ahead of the flooding incident because of construction work.
A crew worked through the night to salvage the historic collection at the National Library of Scotland in Edinburgh. Scotsman reports.
