    The story that Gary submitted actually referred to file-sharing, but I’ve recently installed CyberSitter on my home computer with the intent to ONLY block IM and chat (12 y.o.–too many battles–unsafe IMing, etc.). I went through and thought that I had only selected blocking of IM and chat, but CyberSitter has decided that there’s other stuff that I don’t need to see or refer to or be able to type. “File-sharing,” is one of those things. The only thing that showed up was the hyphen between file and sharing. Not only the act of file sharing (which I don’t do, because I’m not geek enough), but the simple mention of it. I’ve disabled the software for this post and will be looking for a way around being over-cybersat, but I’m feeling a wee bit disgruntled.

    Aren’t filters wonderful?
    C’mon, you should be happy to hand over your hard earned money to private companies for such stellar service. Just like you should feel privleged to be required by law to spend your tax money on the same services. Why, those people have nothing but your best interests at heart, and strive to give great service. Ya know capitalism always provides you with all possible goods and services. /sarcasm
