The Bloomington Pantagraph Reports the facility has attracted more than 70,000 visitors in just six weeks. The David Davis Mansion (where Lincoln visited), which normally sees 23,000 visitors annually, has seen a big increase in interest since the museum opened, site director Marcia Young said. Assistant site director Jeannie Riordan said daily visits have doubled from 15 to 30. In addition, more school tours and bus tours have stopped at the mansion, she said.
