    I found this statement, from the group’s website, pretty telling. Fang Face makes comment on it as well (emphasis mine):

    LIBRARY PATRONS OF TEXAS, INC. DOES NOT advocate censorship, as traditionally defined. We boldly affirm the Right to free speech granted under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

    They don’t advocate censorship as traditionally defined? So that implies that they advocate non-traditional censorship? ???? That’s how I read the comment.

    I’m wondering if they have copyright permission for all the content on their site, including lengthy passages of the naughty parts (bl**ped for the faint at heart) and images taken from some of the books.

    Well I don’t know if they do have permission…but I would bet money they do not …

    When I see something as “infantile” as that effort is …I can smell the “dark ages” beckoning me “back to the future”.
