Library panel says no outsourcing
One of three committees working on ways to save Nevada County’s financially-strapped libraries will recommend the county bail itself out and not rely on an outside firm.
The library systems Citizens Oversight Committee voted unanimously Wednesday to recommend a plan from the Truckee Friends of the Library that keeps all the libraries open.
Nevada County is in California
Or at least the Nevada County in the story is in California (see the link), as is Truckee.
This happens every time
Then again, Pennsylvania has a county named Indiana and I worked once upon a time as a librarian for the state school there…

I’m frequently wrong on places
And just as frequently corrected. Local papers don’t make it easy to figure out the locations most of the time. At least I had a neighboring state, close enough for blogging.
