Roosevelt’s address to Congress the day after the Pearl Harbor attack and one from the Rolling Stones, The Ronettes and Sam Cooke, Paul Simon, Sarah Vaughan, Bob Marley among others — were selected Tuesday for preservation in a special sound archive.
