Libraries looking for loot after loss

I really like this headline from The San Mateo Daily Journal: Libraries looking for loot after loss. California libraries will need to devise a new funding plan since Proposition 81 failed Tuesday, taking away the option of millions of dollars cities were hoping to use for new buildings and renovations. Another good one comes from the San Mateo County Times where they take a more alarmist tone: Library plans have tragic ending.
You might ask, what was the tragic ending? Was it death? Murder? Suicide? Explosions? Sasquatch attacks? No, the new library design lost its chance at becoming a reality.
