Librarian’s tip leads to fraud arrest

Police say an astute librarian out in Provo, UT helped them arrest a man who is accused of using library computers to make fraudulent medication prescriptions.
Police responded to the library when the librarian called with her suspicions.
Officers saw the man altering a prescription document for OxyContin at the Spanish Fork Library, 49 S. Main, according to a police affidavit filed in 4th District Court.
The man printed out the document and was going to leave when police stopped him, according to the affidavit.
