The Buffalo News Reports On Jean Dickson’s lush front yard on Crescent Avenue received separate visits from the mayor, the city’s top inspections honcho and two other city administrators.
They didn’t come to admire the rose of Sharon, peonies and wildflowers that have created a distinctive landscape in this Parkside neighborhood.
City Hall leaders visited because an inspector sent Dickson notice that her garden was violating ordinances. That, in turn, touched off a tidal wave of e-mails and blog entries from outraged gardeners.
It must be nicer…
Than this place up for sale by the USMS that I am thinking of buying.
Geez, wait a month or so and it will be under a foot of snow. The neighbor that complained sounds stressed out. They need to relax before they end up a block over in Forest Lawn.
