Here’s One from North Liberty, Iowa, on some area librarians who are joining forces to help upgrade the Iowa Juvenile Home in Toledo.

The juvenile home is a state training school for delinquent girls and houses boys and girls who have been removed from their home by court order
and has been without a librarian for six years and has little technology because of state budget cuts. But thanks to a Roy J. Carver Grant of about $14,000, staff will be able to renovate the school library, said Bob Eppler, superintendent of the training school. The change will provide a stable environment for about 90 students, he said.
