Librarian who drove drunk three times

A former librarian with Dublin City Council has been told he is “a very, very lucky man” to escape a jail sentence after he was caught for three drink driving offences in the space of 10 weeks. He accepted it was “a miracle” he didn’t kill himself or anyone else. He also acknowledged it was unlikely he would ever drive again.

    Oh geez
    Another Irish drinking story, can’t an Irish Librarian catch a break.

    (I think I met him at a LAI meeting. I belong to LAI rather than ALA) There are only ~600 members of the LAI, and a lot of them are drunk corporate librarians.

    I’m off for a martini with the Annoyed Librarian.
