Librarian of Congress gives Charter Day address

twistedlibrarian writes “Students, faculty, administrators and members of the Williamsburg community celebrated the 312th anniversary of the granting of the College’s Royal Charter from King William III and Queen Mary II of Great Britain last Saturday. Approximately 650 people attended the Charter Day ceremony at Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall to hear the 13th Librarian of Congress James Billington speak and to hear College President Timothy J. Sullivan deliver his final Charter Day address.
