Librarian leaves lasting bookmark on each student who walks hallways

The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle (Clarksville,TN) has a wonderful article on Frances Sumner, librarian at New Providence Middle School library since the school opened 40 years ago in 1966.
“I am going to die in this library, and when I do, everyone is going to find all my mistakes. Because if there is a mistake, it’s mine,” she said.

Sumner was honored Thursday at the school’s 40th anniversary celebration.
