Laura Bush Visits Edith Wharton’s Library

Edith Wharton’s personal library of 2,600-volumes has now been returned to The Mount, the home and estate that Wharton designed, built and lived in in Lenox, MA. The library was purchased late last year for $2.6 million from Yorkshire rare book dealer George Ramsden by an anonymous benefactor.

First Lady Laura Bush will be the guest of honor at this afternoon’s event to mark the occasion. Here’s the story from Boston.com.
