Aimless TV habit not easy to kick
Next month, we’ll be asked to turn off our televisions during National TV-Turnoff Week
April 21-27. The nonprofit Washington organization TV-Turnoff Network touts reasons why
it’s good to say goodbye to TV. But nowhere on its Web site does it explain what’s in
store for the addict who cuts cold turkey.
