Kewanee High School to update ‘1950s library’

A Story From Kewanee, IL, says students at Kewanee High School could be enjoying a newly redesigned learning resource center by the start of the new academic year.

The $120,000 basic plan will include new furniture, carpeting, books, computers and updated audio-visual equipment in the “state of the art 1957 library.” The Kewanee Schools Foundation has raised about $38,000 of its $60,000 commitment, which will be matched by the Kewanee School District Board of Education.
