I’ve been at several conferences, meetings, tweetups, and other librarian get togethers where the question of the paranormal arises. It seems that libraries have a reputation for being haunted and I’d say that around half of the librarians I’ve spoken with claim to work in a haunted building.
Well, the folks at the Taunton Public Library decided to have the New England Society of Paranormal Investigators come and check out their library. Nothing out of the ordinary had ever been reported, but everyone thought it might be something kind of fun to do.
The final result? While some interesting sounds were detected, there was a whole lot of anything that seemed weird. Still, that doesn’t mean the place isn’t interesting to the Investigators.
