Ire in Ireland over Library Closure Proposal

Anonymous Patron writes Odd One From The Belfast (UK) Telegraph where Staff and members of the North-Eastern Education Board have spoken of being verbally abused by angry members of the public protesting at a proposal to close a third of libraries in the area.

The revelation came as the board agreed yesterday to adopt a recommendation from their library committee to put out to consultation the proposal to shut twelve out of 37 libraries.”
