Internet access separates ‘haves’ and ‘have-nots’

The Marquette Tribune takes a look at The Digital Divide. As more and more resources, from job applications to tax forms, are posted online, those without access to the Internet risk being left behind. Some public institutions, including libraries, can help defray this uneven access. But the question is whether the public can offer enough access to level the playing field. This is the phenomenon known as the Digital Divide.
