search-engines-web.com is a yukky site. I’m sorry to see it getting any sort of a plug.
dmoz.org has a collection of sites that are (generally) less confusing, better designed, and serve up similar results.

I would’ve modded you to +1 interesting Anonymous Patron, I’d hardly call that insightful, but anywho…
search-engines-web.com may be a yukky looking site, but whoever’s behind it sends in some good stuff. It’s rare that we get something useful from a site like that, or anyone that has an angenda to push, or something to sell. I don’t think half of what they (he? she? them?) submit gets posted, but what does make it is really interesting, this post being one of the better ones. None of those links go back to search-engines-web.com, as is the case with most of the search-engines-web.com submissions. This is usually not the case with others.
So… say what you will about the design of that site, they submissions are quite nice. I have no idea who’s behind it, but I hope they keep them coming, we’re usally hard up for good material, and I personally don’t think a link back to their site should be a bother to anyone.
Heck, most days I’m not sure anyone clicks on anything, we’ve had broken URLs in stories that no one ever noticed.
