Over the past 4 years, I’ve watched LISHost grow from a small hobby I started to share the cover of hosting LISNews, to a part time job that occupies just about all my free time. We’ve expanded from just a hand full of my friends blogs in 2002, to well over 100 websites, blogs, wikis and special projects for libraries and librarians around the world.
Of course I don’t do this alone. I’m grateful for the assistance I receive from Kevin Clarke, Jay Gerland, my wife Carrie, and especially Joe Frazee, without whom this project would’ve never gotten started.
I’m currently finishing up the long process of migrating all LISHosted email to a new mail server, and soon after that I plan to add a new web server to handle a couple of our busiest domains, and so that we have room to grow for the next 4 years.
LISHost grows only by word of mouth, so if you’re interested in having your own web site, blog, wiki, or any other server side project, please let me know!
