Crazy News Out Of Utah where Provo police responded to the Provo City Library at 5 p.m. Monday after security reported a woman had fired a gun into the floor.
Brye Williamson, a part-time library security guard, said a librarian told him a 61-year-old woman had been drinking heavily in the library. As Williamson and the librarian went to find the woman to escort her off the premise, they heard a gunshot.
“We just heard a loud pop,” Williamson said. “Essentially it was a gunshot.”
Who Called the Police?
No mention is made of who actually called the police. Was it the security guard, a library employee, the library director or a patron?
Apparently, it was not felt relevant to reveal the ethnicity of the arrested women although her age was freely available.

It seems she was despondent and probably trying to whack herself when she was disarmed by a friend.
I have five bucks that says she was white, non-white people tend not to shoot themsleves. Just an observation from personal experience.
