Girl’s novel idea is literally a first at Bethlehem library

Here’s one of those Sweet Stories that makes everyone say aaawwww

When Nine-year-old Meredith Guro saw that the Bethlehem Area Public Library is losing $286,000 this year she got mad. The book lover decided to have a garage sale to help the library.

The sale will be at Meredith’s grandmother’s house, 1205 Shelbourne Drive, Bethlehem, from 8-11 a.m. on Aug. 21.

”I have good memories of going to the library with my grandmother,” Meredith said. ”I don’t want to see that go away.”

We could all use a few more patrons like Meredith!
