Funding shortfall to force toy library closure

A Short One from Australia says the librarian for the NSW far south coast’s mobile toy library says she expects the service to stop operating on October 30 unless last-minute funding can be found.
“They are all saying to me that there is no funds to continue with the service and the Federal Government, [Eden-Monaro MP] Gary Nairn in particular, has been very supportive of us in the past, but is saying ‘we’ve helped you out twice now and it’s someone else’s turn’,” she said.
