Unlike the younguns in the article, I don’t wear mine, but I’ll tell you it is rather a cute little gizmo. Mine has come in quite handy recently when I had gotten myself into some serious computer problems and needed a place, and a way, to copy something quickly.

Walt, I like the anachronistic touch of the NYT. I plan to keep spelling Internet with an “I”, too. 😉

I Loooove Mine!
I’ve had a U.S.B. F.L.A.S.H. D.R.I.V.E (I for one LOVE the .’s!) for a few months now, and I love it, 256 megs in my pocket! BUT, it’s made me lazy, I used to be a maniac about backing things up, now I can’t seem to remember to do the daily backups it really needs.

If you’re someone who moves alot O’ data around, go getchyer self one.

I just got my husband a flashy (pun intended) dress watch with 128 MBs of storage in it. It’s nice looking, it’s functional (he carries his web page on it), and… IT’S BOOTABLE. Ahem. He is officially the alpha geek at work now, and isn’t even in IT.

It’s one of these,
and the only problem we have with it is that, of course, it’s not waterproof… and the seal on my husband’s appears to be weak… if he exercises, condensation appears on the inside of it. Good news, has a year warranty, and if it does it again, we send it back for a new one. It’s a nifty little gadget.
