Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald is raising the possibility that records sought in the CIA leak investigation could be missing because of an e-mail archiving problem at the White House.
The prosecutor in the criminal case against Vice President Dick Cheney’s former chief of staff said in a Jan. 23 letter that not all e-mail was archived in 2003, the year the Bush administration exposed the identity of undercover CIA officer Valerie Plame.

I seem to recall the Nixon administration having the same kind of technical difficulties. Handy, isn’t it, when you can claim the dog ate your e-mails.
If this administration weren’t so thoroughly discredited and so obvious and oblivious a liar I would give it the benefit of the doubt. Can’t do that any more.

I thought Nixon was a wonderful president. The fruition of détente came under Nixon. Remember too that HUD is a Nixon program as were automatic COLAs for Social Security recipients. Arts spending was greater under Nixon than the previous administrations combined.
Nixon had the first administration in which socail spending was greater than defense spending.

Yeah, I seem to recall Nixon claiming his emails were missing.
I also seem to recall Clinton using this excuse, although that was when emails actually existed.
