Charles Davis writes “from
Bayarea.com Story where the 3-day-old Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library in downtown San Jose was briefly evacuated Sunday afternoon when an apparently faulty sensor belonging to the heating and air conditioning system lit up an emergency panel.
Even with strobe lights flashing and alarms beeping throughout the eight-story building, many patrons initially refused to leave.”
