News From Wisconsin where the former Endeavor Public Library director misappropriated at least $2,700 from a library credit card toward her personal use, according to criminal charges filed this week in Marquette County Circuit Court.
The money was spent on a variety of items, according to Endeavor Clerk June Schumacher, who reviewed financial records last July for two weeks with Endeavor Trustee Karen Kidrick.
“Some things were like groceries or hotel rooms or haircuts or oil changes in a car or restaurants,” Schumacher said. “There was a variety of things that were just not necessities and were obviously not library purchases.”
