Double the Bush Power in West Texas?

U.S. Rep. (first a Democrat then a Republican) and Austin lobbyist Kent Hance, who defeated President George W. Bush in a 1978 Congressional race, is at the forefront of fundraising to bring the Bush Presidential Library to west Texas (Texas Tech). There are also hopes for a Laura Bush Literacy Center in the same vicinity (Midland College).
