    Try Time.gov…
    I think time.gov is more accurate because it matches my computer & cellphone time.

    Worldtime was 2 minutes off, sorry!

    Atomic Clock
    I set my wrist watch to the Navies atomic clock. I also show that the site is of by two minutes.

    I once asked a guy in Japan if he had the time.
    “Do you have the time?”
    His completley straight faced reply was, “The time for what?”

    I use an application called NISTIME 32 to set my windows machines with the USNO master clock.

    And yes the site is ~ 2 minutes off, but I want to know what time it is in Dublin or Bangalore so I can call them not so I can time my laps in the pool. 4AM vs. 4PM makes a big difference when you are calling around the world. Especially if you want your message warmly received.

    BTW it is ~09:45 in Dublin and 14:15 in Bangalore I’ll never understand those 1/2 hour time differences.

    I use an early version of Dimension4, set to check with US.POOL.NTP.ORG.. Using a second-tier server in a round-robin DNS keeps the load on TICK and TOCK at the USNO light. Otherwise traffic can get heavy and the first- and second-tier servers will get less accurate service. No need to keep bugging the Police Chief when there are plenty of beat cops around.
