Court Orders Library to Open Its Meeting Rooms to Church Group

    Religious groups and meeting rooms
    I think the library is totally off base on this one. As long as the group abides by the rules, I don’t see a problem with any religious group using them. That would include Wiccans, and Ramtha people, etc… I think most library’s have a policy that they cannot charge admission, and that the meetings must be open to the public. I did find an interesting comment in the article:

    “The government cannot exclude groups “simply because they have a religious viewpoint,” said Rob Boston, a spokesman for Americans United for Separation of Church and State, a Washington, D.C.-based organization that opposes religion in government.”,/i>
