bit of a gap
There’s something wrong with an article that talks about teen lit and quotes a 13-year-old and an 18-year-old. The Books of Magic by Gaiman are through DC’s Vertigo brand. 18, yes. 13, no.

Both of those are teens.
And report is not gonna give you a nice statistical break-down, he’s going to do whatever is easiest. He probably popped into the Library, and asked the first two kids who stopped by, maybe he did 4-5 and the other kids didn’t give anything that was quote-worthy, or didn’t want to be quoted, or his editor pulled those things due to space constraints.
And regardless of the user bits, the article could stand alone. You don’t need testimonials to make an article.
