Christie’s to Auction Computer History

CSeanC writes “A collection of digital history will be auctioned in late march.

With 255 lots and 1141 items, “The Origins of Cyberspace: A Library on the History of Computing, Networking, & Telecommunications,” is likey to fetch 2 million dollars off the block.

The collection is the life work of Jeremy Norman who began compiling computer literature and items in 1971.

Christie’s auction house will likely hold the sale at the end of March 2005. More from
