Chat Wars Round Two: AOogle?

Fast on the heels of the recent Yahoo/MSN messenger agreement it appears that search giant Google and broadband giant Comcast are looking to get in on the partnership mania. The two companies are reportedly in talks to purchase a portion of America Online from Time Warner.
This merger could open the door for advertising and marketing access to the hundreds of America Online users. The move could be a powerful shot in the arm to Google’s new Google Talk messenger service, which is still lagging well behind the messenger leaders of AOL and Yahoo.
