Canada Reads…The Last Crossing

The Last Crossing finishes first. It was a close one, and could have gone literally any way from the very beginning. The week has been full of revelations, surprise upsets, alliances forged and broken, and lots of great conversation about five great Canadian books.

After much heated debate (a close 3-2 vote), the panel went with Jim Cuddy’s choice, knocking off runner-up “Green Grass, Running Water” by Thomas King.
