My West Texas Says Foundations, wealthy individuals, corporations and even city and county governments could be sources for the up to $200 million needed to build the George W. Bush Presidential Library.
Midland College, the city of Arlington, Southern Methodist University, the University of Dallas, Baylor University, Texas Tech University, the University of Texas System and Texas A&M have been invited to submit proposals for the library. The deadline is Sept. 15.
Fundraising need not have started yet, but with so much money to raise community leaders said it would take a community wide effort to reach the goal.
