Police said today a bomb threat forced them to temporarily close three library buildings while they searched for explosives.
The Clinton Township Police Department received a 911 call at about 3:30 p.m. Monday from an unknown caller who said he had put two pipe bombs in undisclosed locations. The caller later said one of the locations was a library and demanded money in exchange for not detonating the bombs.
