    That’s really interesting and a little unnerving
    I just tried it out with two searches, and given the Common Wisdom about who sucks and who’s great, I probably shouldn’t mention the results. (In both cases, a newish search engine starting with “B” seemed to provide the most apt set of results.)

    This deserves further attention…not that it will change anyone’s mind.

      Similar results
      It’s not the best methodology, but for my test searches I searched myself, my friends and the names of websites I’m associated with. B*ng was the clear winner, breaking my Google-loving heart, with the most relevant results. I tried some less personal searches and B*ng was still the best.

      I think I need to rethink my life.

    not so sure
    I tried looking for a specific item, and I used quotation marks (“In My Book”) . The B* engine (why are we being so discrete?) would not include the word ‘in’ despite it being in quotes.

    Continuing on the ‘In’ theme, I looked up “In A Goda Da Vida”, and it couldn’t guess what I was looking up, whereas G* could. Y* had mixed results on the latter, could find it spelled incorrectly one way but not another.

    3 out of 4 for Google
    I tried 4 quick tests and 3 out of 4 were Google, one Yahoo! I do love this though, it’s interesting to see just how different the results can be.
