Baylor has faith-based edge on Bush library bid

An Anonymous Patron sent in a Guest column in The Waco Tribune by Byron Johnson, professor of sociology and director of the Center for Religious Inquiry Across the Disciplines at Baylor University. He say in a bold move that embodies the very essence of the 2012 vision, Baylor’s proposal for the George W. Bush Presidential Library has designated the role and research of faith-based initiatives as one of the central foci.
Choosing Baylor as the home of the George W. Bush Presidential Library would ensure that Bush’s vision for supporting and studying faith-based organizations continues, and that Baylor University would be the nation’s epicenter for this most important legacy.
