Author told not to come after being asked to speak

Katie writes “Author Kathy Braidhill was asked by Canyon Lake Library Friends of the Library President Phyllis Lippen not to come to the meeting Braidhill had been booked to speak at. Braidhill is the author of “To Die For”, a book about serial killer Dana Sue Gray. Two days after the Friends of the Library board had approved Braidhill’s coming to speak at their May 22nd meeting, Lippen rescinded the offer. She stated that she had been in contact with family members of Gray who still lived in the area and they did not want for the subject to be brought up again.
