Arson suspected in Toronto library fire

A fire that caused an estimated $30,000 to an Ajax community library was intentionally set, according to an investigator.About 10 p.m. Wednesday, police and fire crews were called to the Pickering Village branch of the Ajax Public Library on Church St. N., where they found a section of the building engulfed in flames. Ajax Deputy Fire Chief Matthew Pegg said an investigation found the fire started after a burning object was tossed into the book return drop box. There are no security cameras outside the building.
