An old medium is dusted off – the book

With advertisers everywhere clamoring to take advantage of new media, a bank in Brazil is going against the flow. Its new campaign centers on one of the oldest mass mediums of all – the book.

Visitors to Banco Bradesco, one of the biggest private banks in the country, can flip through the book, which presents 120 reasons why they should be customers, one per page. The 50-centimeter by 70-centimeter tome sits on a pedestal near the entrance to every branch.
