Congratulations, FF, your comment almost got me looking for anecdotes to match yours – and then it hit me – you used examples! Sure, it’s just anecdotal evidence, but it IS evidence! Could this mean the day had dawned when the left moves beyond “We’re right because we’re right” into the sunshine of rational dispute?
Time will tell, but in the meantime, to encourage you, I want to simply concede that your evidence convinces me that there are more perverts (but isn’t child pornography a clearly enunciated Democratic Party family value?) among Rethuglicans than among Marcuseans.
