A shush of School Librarians head for Pittsburgh

“There’s so much more to school libraries than books!” remarked J. Linda Williams, president of the school librarians’ group. “Our students must be taught the 21st century research skills they need to learn and achieve in school and through their lives,” Ms. Williams said
Since 1990, more than a dozen studies have shown qualified school librarians, working in well-equipped media centers, can increase student learning, including boosting scores on standardized tests.”

    Herds of Librarians
    There are more names than one for agroup of librarians-
          -A shush of librarians
          -A catalog of librarians
          -A shelf of librarians
          -A cutter of librarians (What? You don’t know your cutter number?)
          -A dew of librarians (from Melvil Dewey, of course!)
          -A rule of librarians
          -A reference of librarians
          -An order of librarians

          And I’m sure other librians have other favorite names for a group of librarians. Besides a herd of housecats, of course!
