85 students stage overnight sit-in at high school library

Eighty-five Boulder High School students camped out overnight at the school library, concerned about the direction of the country. “We want [political leaders] to reassure us that our fears are misguided and that the government is doing everything in its power to prevent our futures from being destroyed,” said senior Brian Martens. Though they had prepared to stay at the library through the weekend, if necessary, the students left before Friday morning classes at the principal’s request. (via)
