Pajhwok Afghan News – Afghanistan – Reports About 26 libraries were completed in different villages of the Taloqan, capital of the northern Takhar province, officials said on Wednesday. Separately, Counter-narcotics section of the British embassy has donated a number of arms and vehicles to counter-narcotics department of the northern Balkh province.
United States Agency for International Development (USAID) donated $130,000 for the projects. The people will read in libraries free of cost. The purpose behind construction of the libraries was to enhance education level of the people in these areas.
