The Beeb reports today on a child’s discovery of multiple errors in Encyclopedia Britannica’s Polish coverage.
A Britannica spokesman is quoted, “We are always grateful to any reader who brings mistakes to our attention.” What, no reward for finding errors?
This also puts some perspective on the haughty Librarian: Don’t use Wikipedia as source story from last year.
