Have search engines, like Yahoo, reached the maximum amount of resources users need and want or can they no longer make improvements? I would think further development and improvements would be better than incentives, and last much longer in the long term in keeping users.”
Use Yahoo and we’ll jail a reporter
Perhaps their dropping a dime on a Chinese journalist requires that they whore themselves out to get people to use them.
They couldn’t pay me enough.
Why people don’t trust Yahoo!
Yahoo’s problem is that it is a ****ing sellout. It will sell you out to the government of George Bush or of China, and all those censormorons have to do is ask politely. If people aren’t using Yahoo, they might want to consider building a relationship founded on trust instead of snitching to the narks.
It also wouldn’t hurt if they kept themselves competitive.
Re:Why people don’t trust Yahoo!
Damn, I agree with Fang again (well at least the China part) I don’t think GWB gives a rat’s arse about Yahoo.
Netflix
I saw a blurb that one of the incentives that might be offered was cheaper Netflix. If you used Yahoo, Netflix would be 10.99 instead of 17.99 for their three DVD plan. I personally would use Yahoo more if they did this.
Re:Why people don’t trust Yahoo! 🙂
That’s ironic – a yahoo not giving a rat’s arse about Yahoo.
Blingo
Has anyone tried this seach engine ? Any winners?
