Yahoo! back door to WorldCat

Nicholas Carroll from Hastings Research writes “As is generally known, the new Yahoo! Google knockoff now offers belated access to WorldCat via search.yahoo.com
The syntax going around is to enter, e.g.
jane eyre library, and pull up a WorldCat listing… somewhere down there.
I tested, and revised the syntax to:
[WHATEVERTITLE] “find in a library” site:www.worldcatlibraries.org, such as This Seach, and bingo. Nailed. But note that the returns once you’re in WorldCat are really buggy, not like a licensed version. I tested a dozen titles by various syntax, and that made significant impact on WorldCat returns, using the same ZIP code as the search nexus.”
